Syvota (Greek: Σύβοτα) is a municipality in Thesprotia, Greece with a population of 3,010 inhabitants (2001 census). The seat of the municipality is in Plataria. The coastal village of Syvota (Albanian: Murto or Vola), part of the modern municipality, was home to Cham Albanians before 1944, when they were expelled for collaborating with the Axis Powers forces. In antiquity, the location was called Sybota, and was the site of the Battle of Sybota.
